Big Red False Alarm
With your long blue head
We switched directions
Your alter ego appeared with a gimmick
Everybody walked out of sync
It was a big red false alarm
12 days apart from each other
A craving came and went
Cursed loudly on the hour
Saw myself from the outside in
Thankfully you gave me mate rates
I invested in the noise of the superhighway
Wild dogs rode past with tourist eyes
Boredom jumped on the dreamers
Addicted to searching through the lucid trash
I became enraptured by the echo in your voice
