Vintage Advert - Hear Muffs, Headphones you wouldn't kick out of bed

Oh my word....I need a pair of these to go walking up and around the English countryside in to stop the wind from howling around my ears. I'm thinking they should relaunch these "Hear Muffs" and give the headphones "Beats" by Dr Dre a run for his money.

Not Very Domesticated - Illustration

So I bought a lamp shade for the design and thought it would hang down far enough to cover the light bulb. It never entered my head there would be different sizes. So now I know. I once made my own lampshade out of chicken wire and aluminium foil, it looked pretty good.
