Cadburys Cream Eggs - Illustration

Easter is upon us once more and that can only mean one thing, Cadburys Cream Eggs are in the shops! As a child I always thought that if you got a larger version of the egg the centre of it would be filled with the yellow and white sweet mixture, but then I got bought one and my whole world collapsed around me, all it had inside was a small plastic bag filled with a handful of tiny eggs. The Cream Egg slogan is "How do you eat yours?" Well, I just pop the whole egg into my mouth and have an explosion of flavours all in one go.

Eating Carrots Can Make You See In The Dark - Illustration

Another childhood myth I can remember was that if you ate a lot of carrots it enabled you to see in the dark. I always seemed to be running around in the dark as a child and frightening myself in the process.

David Bowie Ticket for £1.20 - Illustration

Chatting to the green grocer about the astronomical ticket price of music concerts and how he went to see David Bowie back in the day (1970's) for £1.20. His friend wanted to buy his ticket from him and said he would give him his full weeks wage for it, he turned the offer down and I just stood there listening to him all jealous.
