Contemporary Wall Art - Mutant

Not only do I love this wall art piece but I love the colour of the wall too. This orange urban, contemporary canvas print is another abstract, grungy print that I took while out and about taking photos. This striking orange canvas art print really does make a bold statement, especially on a wall with a complimenting colour. I'm trying to write more about my art but I just see something that I like knowing it will look good as wall art and take the photo. There is no hidden meaning to any of the canvas prints, not yet anyway.

Contemporary Wall Art - Highs of the Weekend

This contemporary wall art piece is a photographic collage of torn/ripped urban posters that I have come across on my photography travels. I love the look of this grungy looking art piece and the layer upon layers of posters of gigs and DJ sets. I tend to like urban photos that are of abstract objects that have naturally faded or corroded over time. The randomness of these abstracts I see is unique and created by wear and tear, the weather and the natural ageing process. All of the art on my web site is made to look stylish and contemporary which compliments any modern room.

Censorship - Photography

After watching the play 1984 by George Orwell at the West Yorkshire Playhouse last weekend I have been thinking about censorship, thought police and the destruction of words and it makes me feel like I am being invisibly strangled when I think about it all. Social media is becoming Big Brother and we all are becoming its foot soldiers, call me paranoid or is it just simply reality?
