I really like this new artwork that I have created, its made up from a collection of abstract urban photographs I have taken over the past few months and then they have been digitally overlayed one another with a paint style effect. They are randomly placed around the artwork as I wanted to create a chaotic abstract wall art. This is a canvas art print that has been created from the photographs by printing the photo onto canvas before being wrapped around 1.5 inch stretcher bars. A fine layer of varnish is applied to the canvas to protect and highlight the colours.

 I have ten new artworks to add to the website and I set myself a goal of adding them all to the website today, this is the second artwork. Probably start burning the midnight oil before I'm finished but I will get a break by going for a swim at some point.

This new grey urban abstract canvas art is called "Crashing Within These Walls" and looks amaze balls even if I do say so myself. I was going to add a bit of colour to this artwork but I said to myself "no" it looks great as it is. This canvas art print started its life as a photograph I took and then digitally manipulated it to resemble in style a painting, this photograph has then been printed onto quality canvas before being hand mounted onto 1.5 inch stretcher bars.  A coat of varnish is applied to the canvas to help protect and increase the vibrance of the colours.

I don't usually see photos I like that have the colour brown in them but when I spotted this bit of urban decay I knew it would look amazing printed onto canvas. This is a photo I took whilst in Poland whilst lots of people were walking past me wondering why I was taking a photograph of an old craggy wall. The photograph has been digitally manipulated to give it a "painting" feel on closer inspection rather than a like for like photograph. This photograph has been printed onto quality canvas before being stretched over 1.5 inch stretcher bars, (I like the chunky size of these stretcher bars as they make the image really "pop out" from the wall). A coat of varnish is also applied to the canvas to help protect it and which also highlights the colours in the image.
