Nylon Life - Poetry by Sam Freek

 Nylon Life

Have you seen the scale of it?
Hitchhiking on this earth like I own it
Worn out but find the energy
It works for me why not for you?
Your nylon life full of joy

This itch reminds me of you
Downpour stopped and then laughter
Acknowledging my own company
The joke was half price
I stared up at the big grey towers

The decaying door was an experiment
But a clouded head controlled your limits
Desperate for entertainment
With a barrage of stored fusion
It was meant to look how it did
