Three photographs of the beginning of my quick trip to London. I like to stay in hotels that have character and not where the rooms look all the same so more often than not the rooms have furniture that don't match but are that old and well built they will never collapse. In this particular hotel the windows were very large and had very old sash windows which rattled during the night with the slightest bit of wind. I got a bit too over excited seeing some old gas light fittings that were still attached to some of the walls and the only thing that let the hotel down was they didn't supply a kettle with tea, sacrilege.
