In a teeny weeny world lived teeny weeny people in my abstract urban cityscape. They all live peacefully together and just have fun 24/7. I like drawing these urban cityscapes and ive had a few people ask me if I would print them off as they would love to colour them in. Not sure I would like them in colour as I love them in black and white.

People look so peaceful while they're asleep, no anguish or any visible signs of stress or strains of the day. The only problem I have with sleeping is I don't want to go to bed on a night but then I don't want to get up in the morning. It would be great if somebody could invent a machine that you laid in for an hour but upon leaving it you felt like you'd had eight hours sleep. I could get so much more done in my day.

I like drawing faces of people or taking photographs. Some of these abstract portraits are of people I see during the day and some are of faces that just appear in my imagination, although I may have seen them before whilst out and about.
I have been looking for somewhere to go this weekend to celebrate Summer Solstice so I've been thinking of warm summer colours. These thoughts have led me to wake up this morning with this image on my mind so I thought I'd digitally paint it as the colours cheered me right up (usually wake up grumpy).

Oh I do like to be beside the seaside, oh I do like to be beside the sea. Just thought I would burst into song before I posted this photograph of the north pier in Blackpool at night. I'm a bit worse for wear as I'm a bit hungover from last night and in need of some food.

|It's A Great Idea - Industrial Canvas Art|
|Panoramic Industrial Wall Art by Sam Freek|
With this industrial panoramic I wanted to create a canvas art print that was simple and yet strong and that was effective by using its abstract appearance. Like a lot of my artwork I have used distressed, weathered surfaces that to me hold enticing artistic historical value and character.
This red, white and blue limited edition, panoramic abstract canvas art is giclee printed onto high quality canvas before being hand mounted and wrapped onto 1.5 inch stretcher bars, a fine layer of varnish is also added to each print to highlight the artwork and to add extra protection. Various sizes are available to buy online with custom sizes of up to 78 inch available (premium bars) and all my artwork can be delivered anywhere in the world. If you have any questions about this canvas art or any of the photography on the website please feel free to contact me (Sam Freek).
